4-29-09 Another guitar-oriented radio program played us this month! Jim McCutcheon's "Intimate Guitar" program in Ohio played our recordings of La Vida Breve and the Pavane, Op. 50. We are grateful to Mr. McCutcheon.
4-16-09 Yesterday the trio had their debut appearance on the the Classical Guitar Alive! public radio program hosted by Tony Morris. We are grateful to Mr. Morris for playing us on his very exclusive program. He played our recording of the Corelli "Christmas" Concerto.
4-15-09 Last night, WPKN-89.5 in Bridgeport/New Haven, CT, played some of the tracks off our CD, Emergence. Host Jim Motavalli also interviewed Dusty about the CD and the trio's upcoming plans. Here is the interview (Enjoy!):
4-11-09We have put together a "highlight" reel from our performance at Abilene Christian University back in February. It's posted on YouTube, but we'll embed it here for you as well. Enjoy!
2-9-09 The trio finished their debut tour of Texas, and it went extremely well!! The people of Texas were kind and gracious hosts and quite receptive as audience members. It was delightful to have Rylan sing, "The stars at night are big and bright..." and have the entire audience clap and sing "deep in the heart of Texas!" We also gave a masterclass at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, and the students played very well. Thanks so much to Abilene Christian University and Howard Payne University for having us out, and a thanks goes to Lance Beaumont of HPU for setting up the masterclass and concert. We were glad to have met Lance and some of his students! Photos are forthcoming, but here is one to wet your appetite:
Texas pride even found its way into the Comfort Inn breakfast buffet!
1-24-09 The trio has just been taken under the wing of major management!!!! As of February 1st, we will be on the artists roster of Price, Rubin & Partners (www.pricerubin.com). We will be the only guitarists on the roster besides the renowned guitarist Angel Romero. We are very excited about this future partnership and look forward to the next major step in our careers. There are some great musicians on PRP's roster, so you should go and check them out. The AGT will be coming to a concert stage near you!!
1-23-09 The AGT was featured in an article in the magazine, "Southern Distinction", February issue. For those of you interested, here is the website: www.southerndistinctionmag.com. I'm not sure if our article is featured online, but hopefully either they will post the article on their website soon, or we will possibly do so (if that is legal!).
